Abstract Tidal Landscape

Abstract Tidal Landscape
Along Iceland’s southern coast, glacial rivers reach the ocean across wide sand plains—shaping intricate surface patterns through sediment and flow. From above, these transitions become abstract formations that blend natural structure with vivid, almost surreal coloration.
The images reveal a meeting point of elements: water, earth, and motion. Without a clear frame of reference, the landscape shifts toward something non-representational—defined more by rhythm, tone, and direction than by geography. A temporary composition shaped by geology, meltwater, and tide.
