Blue Cosmos

This series captures drifting icebergs on a glacial lagoon in Iceland, shaped by wind and currents into ever-changing, painterly formations. Viewed from above, their slow motion becomes abstract—a quiet dance of shape and texture on deep blue water. Dark trails meandering through the lagoon are sediments of volcanic sand, released from the melting ice. They add a contrasting rhythm to the scene, as if ink were drawn across the surface.

The resulting compositions appear almost otherworldly, like floating fragments of a distant planet. With their delicate tones and fluid structures, these images reveal the silent dynamics beneath the surface of this remote, glacial landscape.
