"A Film For The Future" – a visual companion to Moon Music

aerial video production | client: Coldplay

Coldplay’s "A Film For The Future" is a 44-minute film created to bring their worldwide No. 1 album Moon Music to life through stunning visuals from 150 artists. I was honored to be personally chosen by the band to create visuals for the album’s opening track MOON MUSiC, where I captured Iceland’s glacial rivers and coastline from the air. The film premiered on YouTube and was showcased in special 360-degree screenings worldwide.

"In the summer of 2024, more than 150 visual artists were given short audio clips from Coldplay's new album Moon Music. They were given no artistic direction other than to follow their inspiration."

Stills from My Video Clip

For my video segment, I captured aerial scenes of gentle waves along the Icelandic coast, their colors shaped by glacial river sediments merging with the ocean. The rhythmic movement of the water mirrored the ethereal sound of MOON MUSIC, created in collaboration with Jon Hopkins. Being deeply connected to both artists, this project was a dream come true.
